The golf industry is building and executing strategies to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the sport and its operations. One core initiative is to diversify the industry’s $84 billion supply chain through promoting inclusive purchasing of goods and services. This means helping to increase awareness amongst diverse-owned businesses of the needs that golf courses have for professional services, food and beverage sourcing, supplies, tournament support, golf maintenance and other goods and services. Supplier inclusion supports competitive pricing, high quality service, and innovation.
We want to help you connect with golf industry purchasing decision-makers. Through the creation of a dedicated diverse supplier portal and database VRAConnect.org, registered golf industry buyers and procurement professionals are able to easily access, search, engage, and source goods and services from diverse suppliers. Diverse suppliers include businesses owned by minorities, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, and those with disabilities. To date, more than 1,500 diverse owned businesses are actively participating and have a profile in the database. We want YOUR business to be a part of it!
The Vendor Resources Administration diverse supplier portal and database (VRAConnect.org) also helps provide awareness of upcoming sourcing opportunities posted by the golf industry. Check out the VRAConnect ‘Event Portal’ to learn of prospective needs for championship events, tournaments, national offices, and golf facilities.
